Alley Cat & Dog Grooming was originally my mom's business. I began working the front desk around the age of 13, answering phones and washing and drying pets. I worked on weekends and holidays throughout my school years.
When I was 22, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, so I managed the store full time for the family. Then about 15 years ago, I purchased the business from her.
Throughout the years, I have always strived to keep the high standard of service my mom gave our clients, while keeping my prices very reasonable. I try to provide a personal touch with each animal and accommodate their individual needs as much as I can.
My team is amazing. My main staff has been working with me for over 20 years, which provides an excellent level of consistency for our clients and their pets.

Every pet is unique, and we tailor our care to meet their individual needs.
We accommodate each pet's individual needs. If they have fleas, ear infections, rashes, or other concerns, we alert owners right away with pics and video when necessary.
We educate our clients on how to better maintain their pets in between visits. Good grooming habits start at home!

We take many cats! Call us to chat about your specific animal prior to your visit to determine if they're the right fit for us.
Each dog gets a small bag of treats and cats get a lickable treat. Dogs often go home with seasonal scarves or bows — our signature touch for over 40 years!

I like all dogs, but in order to preserve the long-term physical health of my staff and myself, I no longer accept Huskies, Shepherds, and other large, labor-intensive breeds.
If your dog is too big for us to groom safely, I will gladly refer you to other grooming options in the area. It's not that I don't love them — I'm just much older now and my arms can't do the work I used to!
